Hi, I haven't posted in a while I know, but I promise when I do its something good.
If you're looking for a place to dine for New Year's, You found one.
I heard of a new place, called Sauce and so I thought of trying it out.
I personally like to eat in restaurants that are not in closed malls, and this is conveniently located in Al-Shaab Sea Side.
This is the outdoor seating area overlooking the road.
Since the weather is great nowadays, I would advice sitting outdoors or in the inner terrace area, which is also open, in addition to the tables inside the restaurant, of course.
And this is where we sat. Don't worry about the cold, there are heaters all around.
I went with my Auntie Hessah and my lovely friend Dana, and we literally ordering everything.
This is their menu. It may look minimal, but it has a wide variety of dishes. We ordered a number of dishes to try different things on the menu.
We ordered the Rocca and Chicken Shawarma Salad, I liked the dressing but I was picking out the onions.
This is the maple shrimp, which was sweet and yummy.
Someone told me to try the lasagne rolls, but they weren't my favourite.
If you like Mexican, try the beef Tacos. I enjoyed the crispy beetroot shells.
We ordered two types of fries, Peperoni fries and potato cheese balls. I loved both.
My favorite Dish was the mini herbed Saj Chicken Shawarma. It was very light and tasty.
I don't recommend the risotto, it was very bland and tasted like milk more than a creamy sauce.
And last but not least, an open flame Margherita Pizza. So fresh and delicious and cheesy too.
After all that, there was definitely no room for desert, although on the menu, they sounded amazing.
Maybe next time, because there will be a next time.
Overall, the service was good. The value of money for the food was very reasonable.
Tip: The portion of the food is small, so try ordering some dishes and sharing with whoever you're out with.
Thank you Sauce for the lovely dinning experience and Wish you the best.
